And the party conference sees a full schedule of events being hosted by the Liberal Democrat Christian Forum at which all are welcome to attend and get involved with. All the events are outside the secure zone so people without passes are welcome - if you have friends in and around Liverpool, invite them!
LDCF is also running a stall in the exhibition zone and would appreciate it if everyone could make it along for a chat and catch-up!

14:33 About LDCF
» Liberal Democrat Christian ForumThe Liberal Democrat Christian Forum is a support organisation for Christians in the Liberal Democrats. Our aim is to encourage and enable Christians in their constructive work in politics. We are a voice of Christian faith in the Liberal Democrats, and a voice of Liberal Democracy among Christians.
We work to encourage a positive Christian input in the party's activities at national, regional and local levels. We also seek to support each other through prayer and fellowship. We welcome Christians from all backgrounds who are members or supporters of the Liberal Democrats and its associated Parties.
Challenging Christians
We challenge the Christian world to become more politically active, by promoting the Liberal Democrats at various Christian conferences. We encourage Christians to think through their politics.
We also inform the Christian press about Liberal Democrat Christian initiatives with letters and press releases.
We have good links with Christians in the other major political parties and are pleased to work on joint projects where our goals overlap.
Challenging the Party
Liberal Democrat Christian Forum has a strong track record of pushing forward radical policy through its fringe meetings at Federal Party Conferences, its involvement in policy working groups, and the indvidiual work of its members.
Recent fringe meetings have tackled issues such as: opposing the modern slave trade, the role of creativity in education, homelessness, and holding government to account.
Keeping you in touch
The Christian forum produces a quarterly newsletter, Christian Focus, which includes thought-provoking articles, debate, news of events of interest to Christians in the Party, letters from our readers and Conference reports. Christian Focus is read by MPs, MEPs, and articles are frequently adopted by the Christian press.
Worship
We organise the Conference Service at the autumn Federal Conference and daily meetings for prayer and fellowship during both spring and autumn Conferences.
Membership
We rely on our members for all our costs. Your subscription covers the LDCF Magazine and the cost of our activities.
